Calls for Entry
Deadline extended to December 15th for 2008 SGC Student Fellowships
SGC Student Fellowships are awarded to individuals who exhibit
outstanding promise in the fine art practice of printmaking. Each
institution may submit the name of one graduate and one undergraduate
student candidate. In order to be considered, these students and the
institutional representative nominating them, must be members in good
standing.

2008 Harnett Print Biennial Entry
The 2008 Harnett Biennial of American Prints is the eighth competitive national exhibition organized by the University of Richmond Museums. Open to all forms of prints, the exhibition is presented as a celebration and examination of contemporary printmaking by artists throughout the United States.

Gallery5 Exhibition Oportunity
In collaboration with T.O.W.A.R., Gallery5 will host Repressed 3, a show
dedicated to socially conscious works. This event will take place March
7th, 2008 and will be the precursor to a workshop series. Gallery5 is
currently seeking workshop proposals, performers, artists, and volunteers.

VCUarts Locker 50B Project
Locker 50B is a gallery. Locker 50B is also an actual locker. The dimensions are 12" x 14" x 19". It is located in a wall of storage lockers on the third floor of Virginia Commonwealth University's Fine Arts Building.
In March 2008 Locker 50B celebrates its sixth year. "Inkling", a print exhibition, will be installed for that month in conjunction with the Southern Graphics Conference. A few artists have been selected for this exhibition but there are still opportunities for more entries. If interested please contact Virginia Samsel at samselva@vcu.edu.
Size limitations submitted works may not exceed 4" horizontally. Sculptural pieces are welcome.
